Earlier we briefly introduced the main equipment of the SMT production line, today we will introduce the types of SMT production lines
1. According to the degree of automation, it can be divided into fully automatic SMT production lines and semi-automatic SMT LED production line;
2. According to the size of the production line, it can be divided into large, medium and small production lines.

Surface mount process
a. Single-sided assembly: (All surface-mount components are on one side of the PCB)
Incoming inspection-solder paste stirring-screen printing solder paste-SMD-reflow soldering
b. Double-sided assembly:: (Surface mount components are on the A and B sides of the PCB respectively)
Incoming inspection-PCB A side screen printing solder paste-SMD-A side reflow soldering-Flip-PCB B side screen printing solder paste-SMD-B side reflow soldering-(cleaning)-inspection-rework
2. Mixing process
a. Single-sided mixed process: (Plug-in and surface mount components are on the A side of the PCB)
Incoming inspection-solder paste stirring-PCB A side silk screen solder paste-SMD-A side reflow soldering-PCB A side plug-wave soldering or dip soldering (a small number of plugs can be soldered by hand)-(cleaning)-inspection- Rework (paste first and then insert)
b. Double-sided mixing process: (Surface mount components are on the A side of the PCB, and the plug-in is on the B side of the PCB)

B. Incoming inspection-PCB side A screen printing solder paste-SMD-Manual solder paste on the PCB side of the A side plug-PCB B side plug-reflow soldering-(cleaning)-inspection-repair
(Surface mount components are on the A and B sides of the PCB, and the plug-in is on either or both sides of the PCB)
First, reflow soldering of the surface-mounted components on both sides of A and B of the double-sided PCB according to the double-sided assembly method, and then perform manual soldering of the two-sided plug-in.
